In a recent poll I asked people how they would choose their Realtor when moving to a new area where they had no contacts. 85% said that they would phone the Realtor on the MLS listing that they were most interested in. Just a note to Buyers; if you are not a "client" under contract, the listing agent works for the Seller. Buyers who sign a representation agreement become “clients” and as such are ...owed “fiduciary duties” such as confidentiality, whereas a “customer” of the agent is not. As a customer you are not owed confidentiality; on the contrary, the agent must report any information he or she has about you to the Seller.
