NADIA PARDY, SALES REPRESENTATIVE

I have served over 18 years in the Canadian Forces as a Resource Management Support Clerk, during which time I experienced many House Hunting Trips, Moves, and Real Estate Transactions.  I will be familiar to many Canadian Forces Personnel from working at the Signals Squadron, Base Personnel Selection and other Canadian Forces Bases in various administration and finance positions that I filled during my military career.  What might be of particular interest to military clientele is that I worked in the Reception and Despatch Section prior to the implementation of the Integrated Relocation Program (IRP), and was ther to assist my chain of command to iron out the processes once the IRP was implemented.  I have also had several moves under the CFIRP.  I have had overseas deployments and imposed restrictions as a service member, and also being a military wife, have experienced staying behind with the family while my husband deployed; not an easy task.

My parents came to the Ottawa Valley when I was five years old and we stayed in this area until I finished grade 10.  Including my childhood, and part of my military career, I have spent over 20 years in the local area.  I have lived in the Whitewater Region , Pembroke, Laurentian Valley and Petawawa areas.  Since I have attended both public and separate schools, and my children have attended both French Immersion (General Lake), École Secondaire Jeanne Lajoie and Bishop Smith I am quite familiar with the area school systems.

My husband is a Medical Technician and I am the proud parent of two teenage daughters, a chocolate lab and a pug/jack russell cross.  When I'm not working or playing the taxi Mom, I enjoy curling, scrap booking, stamping or simply spending time in the community. 

I am firm supporter of both charity and community; some of you may remember me from Girl Guides of Canada, Smiles for Seniors, various charity runs, United Way and National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign events that you may have seen me at in the past.  For every transaction I make a donation to the Easter Seals of Ontario to help disabled children in our community.
